Question: Dealing with dieting and drug withdrawal at the same time?

I recently stopped taking an anti- depressant (zoloft) because it made me feel awful. The withdrawal is difficult, but I decided to quit it cold turkey. At the same time, when I came home today, my mother yelled at me for being over weight and is making me monitor everything I do, which is very stressful for me, because of withdrawal and lack of mental stability. I really don't know what to do. It wouldn't be as big of a deal if I wasn't dealing with one or the other, but I am at the same time, and I don't know how to cope. I have been taking zoloft for about a year. I recently upped my dose, but I felt really awful, and entirely unstable with the new dosage, so I stopped all together. |
