Question: What to do with heroin addicted loved one?

My boyfriend has been doing heroin off and on for a year. He's been lying to everyone and continuing to use. I gave him the ultimatum today, rehab or never speak to me again... He didn't choose rehab. His brother, who he lives with has cut him off, I have cut him off, all of his friends that aren't using have cut him off, but his parents continue to support him by paying for his cell phone, car, insurance, rent, school tuition and paycheck. We have all gone to them, pleading that they cut him off, as they are the last support system he has that is letting him continue to use. They refuse and say that it is their responsibility to pay for all of his things and are admitting that he is using heroin but that he needs to figure out how to quit himself. What do you suggest the people who care about him do? I have already cut him off and refuse to speak with him, I have pleaded with his parents to quit enabling and they continue to do so? Is there any other choice or just move on with my life?

Either kick him to the curb...or have an Intervention....no other way...Heroin is one HELL of a drug...he cant kick it on his own, or because you ask him too...his body will over ride every thing anyone tells him, even him self...

Well i am not an expert or anything but i was addicted to sleeping pills which were prescribed to me but i took them overly and wound up in the er a few times i went to rehab and thank god and jesus christ i am now clean i have been clean for two months this week thank jehovah god and jesus christ and the holy spirit and holy ghost and my daddy and boyfriend and family and church girls who prayed for me, if he is not abusing you or anything and i loves you i would say stay with him as long as he loves you and you love him and hopefully you can be a testimony as long as the situation isnt dangerous or anything you ccant really listen to those of us on here cause only god and jesus knows and your parents and the ones who care for yall talk to his parents i dont know how old you are but if you are and adult hang in there but if you under 18 or something maybe you should be careful just dont go around him whens he doing that stuff which i am sure you know and it goes without needing to be said please dont blame yourself or him ADDICTIONS ARE STRONG AND REAL but can be BROKEN IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AND JEHOVAH GOD DELIVERED ME and THEY WILL deliver him you can write me if you want keep praying just dont abandom him thanks
