I was doin 20 bags of heroin a day, just did a 6 day detox, before i left today i felt fine then the pains really hit me... when am i goin to feel better?

Wow so good to hear you've done detox.I don't know much about drug addiction as I only did weed and drank about everything there is to drink.As to your question I don't know but how long the pain withdrawls go on but I'd check in at a clinic or ER if the pains get too much for you.Hang in there. It may get worse before it gets better.

This will be a day to day thing as everyone gets better at a different rate. I never even heard of a six day detox. This isn't long enough for even the lightest user. Methadone will keep you from going through the detox. itself, but it won't replace the high you used to get from it. This is what you're going to miss. Even 30 days is too short in my opinion. Have you got a place to stay and a job to earn some money with? These 2 are definitely needed for a life on the outside. You'll also need food and clothing too. You'll most likely never get over replacing the high you used to get, but you need to find something to get some high and fast energy for your body to use. You'll also need to get healthy with a good body to match. Then maybe try to keep it that way to live longer. Good luck and God Bless
