Hydrocodone is not a form of heroin. It is an opiate. Is this medication prescribed by a doctor who knows her history? If not she needs to stop. If it is she needs to be careful and take them only as directed. Its a blessing she has stopped using heroin. She needs to figure out why she always needs to be in an altered state. She needs good friends with the best of intentions and it sounds like she has that in you! |

It is an opiate and can be very addictive. |

Vicodin is extremely, extremely addictive. Heroin is an opiod, and so is Vicodin. The side effects will be similar to heroin: * dizziness * lightheadedness * nausea * drowsiness * euphoria * vomiting and constipation |

No its not a form of heroin that would be methadone. But vicodin is very addictive, she'll probably need help. |

Hydrocodone is a synthetic form of codeine and is addictive. Your friend is using the prescription drugs instead of the street drugs. She is really messed up and needs help |

It an opaite - she is getting the same effect from taking it as smack, they do this either to tie them over until they get money for the hit, She maybe is really trying to come off it by using pain killers, but she should be reducing her in take of them daily, most of all she will need to speak to the drug and alchol team. The odds of her coming off heroin by her self is 50/ 1, sorry to say. I dont agree with methodone myself but it does work for them who are truely sick of thier dependance, But do a little research on the o'neill (Naltrexone) implants, the tablets are the same the only difference they can stop taking the tablets and have a hit within 24/ 48 hours, it is costly but nothing compered to what she is spending with her habbit, and what she may have lost/ going to loss due to her addictions. But what a difference implants are making to the few people i know that have had them done, they are normal again no more lies or begging and back to work. Please also note do be weak to her addiction, but also dont help her maintane habbit, people that use become very good at getting what the need from anyone - and them who's addiction that is way out of control would sell and steal from a child, because the drug is so strong it has to be feed. what keep me strong through a shit time of friends dying and using, was a psychologic pharse " love the sinner hate the sin " it is also a holy pharse " i dont believe in god " but both ways it makes sense. well to me anyways. |
