Heroin Withdrawal: Methadone Detox Facts

Question: I am going through heroin withdrawal and i wanted to know if i'm doing it right.?

A girl i like asked me to quit heroin so i am, but the thing is she doesn't believe me because i'm not showing the symptoms of heroin withdrawal. The thing is that i feel great i mean the first day i felt sick and dead but then after that day i'm feeling better already... but she still thinks im doing it. so i was wondering if anyone had an explanation i could give her that is the reason why i'm not showing the withdrawal symptoms. so can u explain it to me? plz!

Ummm...first of all....you want to know if your doing it right? i mean, how can you screw up quitting heroin? you just quit. you can screw that up. why dont you use the money that you would normally spend on heroin and buy some at home drug tests. let her randomly test you. maybe that would help you with not going back to it as well....knowing that she can test you whenever she wants.
