Methadone Clinic: Methadone Detox Facts

Question: Out of suboxone, might try methadone clinic- any ideas?

Was addicted to all sorts of opiates over the last few years. Switched to suboxone a year ago and have been gradually weening down. I started with 5 now I am down to 3. I have lost so much money from them- so expensive! I had medicaid in Ny and just moved to FLorida. Will be some time before I set up insurance. What can I do now that I have no pills and no way to pay for my script at the pharmacy. What can I take thats cheaper possible or any ideas? If I try methadone clinic, would have to wait until Tuesday for my first dose.

Please don't get on Methadone if Suboxone is working for you! I have been on Methadone for 3 months and I want off! However the tapering process is SLOW! I have gained 35 pounds on Methadone and it makes me SO tired. I could sleep all day. I have been on Suboxone and experienced NO side effects and wish I had gone back on that. Methadone has been a horrible experience for me. BE CAREFUL!!! Please weigh the pros and cons!!!

Methadone cost same at clinic too and just will get you addicted again except it is worse then almost any other drug.
