Question: Can you take liquid methadone and neurotin together?

Ive been on liquid methadone for 2 years now, and I have never taken anything else with it, I previously was prescribed Neurotin before I got on Liquid Methadone, and I was wondering if i could take the 2 together without there being a negative interaction, I have asked at the Clinic and they said I could, but I would like to hear someones experience / opinion before I actually take them together..( I know that any drugs can have side effects and interactions ) Thanks.

There is a moderate interaction between these two drugs since both of them affect your CNS. Taking both together, can have prolonged or excessive depression on the CNS. Because of this, you should avoid any activities that require mental alertness till you know how the drug is affecting your system.
