No time for methadone, but time for heroin or oxy? seems like you have a priorities problem here. If you getting it prescribed for addiction it will involve seeing a doctor that specializes in addiction treatment, as they have to have a special endorsement on their DEA number to prescribe methadone for that reason.

If you have severe pain and need methadone for that it's not that hard at all. Any doctor who can prescribe controlled substances can prescribe methadone for pain. But if you are an addict and need methadone for that you can't get a prescription at all. You would have to go to a methaone clinic where they would dispense it for you. In the beginning you have to go every day and after a while you will start earning take home doses. It's not hard at all to get into a methadone clinic as long as they have space (some have waiting lists). As long as you have been addicted for at least one year and are using current;y you would most likly be accepted.
