Question: What dr. can i contact that will prescribe suboxone for pain killer addiction?

Suboxone is another drug that you will be addictive to. Your best bet would be to stop cold turkey the withdraws really don't last all that long and you will survive it if you want to stop taking drugs. Stop being weak.

Doctors have to have a special licence to prescribe suboxone. Many pain management offices have a dr on staff that deals with detox and will prescribe suboxone after evaluating you and your situation... You must be in a detox state feeling the withdrawls before you can use the suboxone because if you are not it can actually put you into severe withdrawls... The person that said dont be weak obviosly has no clue as to the reality of detoxing... If you use the suboxone for 7 to 10 days it is likely you will NOT become addicted to the suboxone and will coast through your withdrawl with little or no discomfort. I went through 9 days of hell withdrawling from about 450 + norco 10/ 325 per month with 180 MS Cotin 60mg per month cold turkey on the 9th day i was so ready for help and used suboxon for the 10th day and got so much relief from the suboxone which is VERY EXPENSIVE but who cares when you are feeling that terrible.... There are alos detox Doctors everywhere and some with require a payument of 100 dollars the day of your visit.... Use your computer look up detox centers in your area and start calling be straight with whoever you talk to your anonomys over the phone so who cares what they think about you and you will find the right dr for you when the person on the other end of the phone seems compasionate and understanding when you call and explain your situation... If you have insurance money should not be a problem just dont get sucked into one of those country club detox centers that say 5000.00 and in 30 days your cured... Before you do this get your mind set right ... Seems like your on the right path just by asking.... Good luck and look for support wherever you can get it...
