Pain Pill Addiction: Methadone Detox Facts

Question: What do you think of pain pill addiction?

I mean people always think of a coke addict or heroin, but in my opinion I've seen pill addiction be just as bad as that.Screw up peoples lives.What do you think about it?

I think a person addicted to pain pills needs to see a health care provider to get off of them safely. People who are addicted to pain pills can end up with serious problems because of all the side effects they create. Its also dangerous to drive because a person is under the influence when on pain medicine.

I think it leads to bigger and stronger drugs. That's what happened to my uncle anyway, he started stealing his mom's pills and then ended up on heroin and a lot of other stuff. Now he's in rehab because he was caught by police with heroin on him when my mom called the cops on him. It's messy business and it does ruin people's lives. He had a good paying job and he let it go and then downsized to a fast food restaurant.
