Question: Referral needed for finding a suboxone doctor??? help?

I want to know how to get started with a suboxone dr. My main concern is money > > >i have health insurance, but i always need to get a referral when i need to see other doctors ex. when i need to see a dermatologist i had to get my family doc to write me a referral... do you have to get a referral from my regular family dr to make an appt with a sub doctor? If thats the case, it kind of sets me bac alittle bc i dont want to have to explain everything to my family doc, hes kinda friend of the family so its weird for me. any help/ advise would be great!

Your main concern should be your health.
